I think in images. Creating images gives me the possibility not only to form an experience, but to communicate a message to people from all over the world independent of their cultural background. I am fascinated by the idea that I can create an impact using only simple tools like paper, pens and paint.
As a designer and educator, I put a lot of empathize on the creation process of images and the communication of images. Experimenting with images, materials, structures, technologies, media, applying design methodologies, facilitating usability tests, play a crucial role in my work.
I recently finished the project “Beyond the Sky – The great space-clean-up”.
It is a visual story told from the perspective of Qi and Ra. Two inhabitants of a tiny asteroid, who are forced to deal with the interference of Earthlings in their lives. The story is published as a hard cover book and a website. www.asteroiddaily.com
